Production Supervisor, Food Manufacturing

Location: Wilson, NC
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift available
Pay: $65,000 to $80,000 per year plus bonus

Lead a production team that hits its targets safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards as a Production Supervisor in food manufacturing.

Must-Haves

  • Hands-on experience managing yields, labor, and root cause analysis
  • Lead or supervisory experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members, or managing a process or project
  • Strong analytical and math skills with clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in varying conditions (heat and cold) and extended hours or weekends when needed

What You'll Do

  • Lead and motivate hourly production employees to meet safety, quality, and production goals every shift
  • Walk the floor daily, run safety audits, and correct unsafe conditions on the spot
  • Enforce Food Safety and Food Quality plans and ensure compliance with HACCP and USDA regulations
  • Train employees on safe operating procedures, including lock-out/tag-out
  • Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances to cut downtime and costs
  • Partner with Operations Managers to improve workflows and equipment performance
  • Oversee equipment setup and routine maintenance to keep lines running at peak performance
  • Lead monthly line meetings that keep your team aligned and informed

Nice-to-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (not required)
  • Manufacturing background, with food manufacturing a strong plus
  • Warehouse or distribution supervisory experience also considered
  • Experience with HACCP and USDA regulated environments

Compensation and Benefits

  • $65,000 to $80,000 base salary based on experience
  • Bonus opportunity on top of base pay
  • Choice of 1st or 2nd shift
