Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the biomedical manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be part of the Operations department supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician I

Location: Billerica, MA

Pay Range: $20.50 - $25.00 (Depending on experience)

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

What's the Job?

  • Assembling and packaging products with precision and care
  • Completing paperwork related to assemblies and production activities
  • Communicating discrepancies or potential issues to team members
  • Performing quality inspections using mechanical, electrical, and optical tools
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Experience with microscopes and measurement devices
  • Ability to follow GMPs and Standard Operating Procedures
