Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2170 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

Required Skills/Experience: - Trach experience required. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in floor care therapy and 2 years’ experience with intensive care therapy.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU level 4 with L&D and PICU level 1 trauma and transplant experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Basic floor care respiratory therapy: nebulizers and MDIs, bronchial hygiene (CPT), volume expansion (PEP), CPAP and BiPAP for all ages (infant to geriatric). - Works across NICU/PICU and adult patient populations. - Uses Servoi, SiPAP, Sensormedics 3100A (HFOV) ventilators, blood gas analysis, ventilator extubation protocols, and supply/medication Pyxis machines. - Lead Therapist support available 24/7, with additional support staff during regular business hours.

Floating Requirements: - Typically assigned to adult floors or adult ICUs as needed; NICU cannot be guaranteed every shift, and permanent staff are prioritized for NICU.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
