How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver personalized, hands-on care under the guidance of nurses and physicians to ensure patient comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay.

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely while closely monitoring patient responses to ensure effective care and swift intervention when needed.

  • Perform vital diagnostic tests and therapeutic services to provide accurate data that drives timely treatment decisions for your clinical team.

  • Empower patients and their families by providing clear, compassionate education on treatment plans, holistic health, and post-discharge self-care so they feel supported every step of the way.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Clinical Expertise: Proficient in nursing fundamentals, including vital sign management and starting IVs, with a strong preference for candidates with at least one year of experience.

  • Interpersonal & Technical Skills: Exceptional customer service and people skills paired with advanced computer literacy.
