Machinist

Description

Perform lathe setups and be responsible for part quality/dimensions. Perform typical machine shop operations to support the production dept. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspections.

Must be familiar with the basic machine functions. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

Requirement:

High School Graduate/GED. Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and processes.

Rate: $25 - 30 per hr.
