This drug and alcohol hospital provides inpatient medical services to patients requiring primary care oversight within a substance use treatment setting. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and a multidisciplinary team-including physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health staff, and addiction medicine staff-to support quality care delivery. Clinicians are expected to integrate medical management into the broader treatment framework of the facility. About the Facility Location

The Internal Medicine physician will provide medical services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, assigned to a dedicated unit to oversee the medical care of patients with an average length of stay of 7 to 11 days. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout each shift. The clinician will work collaboratively with onsite MDs, APPs, behavioral health staff, and addiction medicine staff to support comprehensive patient care. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
