Pre-Operative Registered Nurse

BJC HealthCare seeks a Clinical Nurse Pre-operative to deliver safe, patient-centered care for surgical patients in our St. Louis pre-op unit. This RN will perform comprehensive assessments, review histories and medications, initiate IVs, prepare patients for anesthesia, and ensure all pre-operative protocols and consents are complete. The nurse will educate patients and families, coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teams, and document accurately in the EMR.
