Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience in a busy level 1 trauma center.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Inpatient oncology experience is preferred. Hematology and bone marrow transplant experience would be a bonus.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date 6 months prior to the submission date.
Unit Details: Cares for medically complex hematology/oncology patients requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side-effect management. If trained to administer chemotherapy, could be assigned accordingly. Uses Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, Language Line, and Zebra phones. Ratios are 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or BMT patients, 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients, and 1:4-6 on nights. The 7S area focuses more on hematology and bone marrow transplant. The clinician will not work alone.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation with every other weekend and every other holiday. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floats to other Med-Surg units at Broadway, with potential to float to other Fargo Med-Surg units at Med Center or South.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
