Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active state Physical Therapist license for Alabama is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required.
- Demonstrated competency with documentation systems used in SNF care, including skilled therapy documentation and restorative program development.
- Client requires clinicians to have experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehabilitation.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments is preferred.
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, fall risk assessment, and use of common adaptive equipment is preferred.
