• Fri ‐ Mon, 5 pm ‐ 5 am ‐‐ 12‐hour shifts
• Every 5th weekend ‐‐ 1:4 call ratio
• Beeper call ‐‐ 30‐minute response time required
• Average 5 patients per shift
• Both low risk and high risk pregnancy and deliveries
• OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, C‐sections, and complicated deliveries
• Skills required: forceps delivery, VBACs, laceration repair
• Minor gynecology ‐‐ IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy
