Certified Nursing Assistant (PER DIEM)
Hourly Rate:
$22 - $25
Location: 120 W 106th St New York New York 10025 - Onsite

Position Summary:

As a CNA, you are an integral player in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities revolve around ensuring the well-being of your clients, helping them maintain their independence, and promoting a safe and supportive environment. These are for full time and per diem positions.

Responsibilities:

Schedule /Shift
  • All shifts available, with the greatest need on weekends (Friday through Sunday)
  • Per diem shifts only
Key Duties
  • Provides direct quality resident care as specified in the resident care profile
  • Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs
  • Serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed
  • Monitoring the conditions of residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Supporting residents with other activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Carries out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse
Requirements:
Education
  • High School Graduate or GED preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State.

  • 6 months to 1-year prior experience in long term care preferred
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare team
  • Demonstrates a caring and compassionate attitude towards the elderly

  • Ability to adapt to different home environments and work independently while following care plans
