Clinical Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

The Clinical Sourcing Specialist is a specialized Talent Acquisition professional focused on identifying, attracting, and engaging clinical talent for Pennant's Hartford HealthCare at Home home health and hospice business. This individual will proactively build relationships with nursing and clinical professionals, develop talent pipelines for key positions, and generate candidate flow to support the organization's ongoing growth and patient care needs. The Clinical Sourcing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified clinicians for both current and future hiring needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proactive sourcing pipelines and talent pools for critical clinical positions, including nursing, therapy, and other patient care roles within home health and hospice.
• Partner closely with recruiters, operational leaders, and hiring managers to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for priority clinical openings.
• Identify strategic search opportunities and support recruitment efforts for hard-to-fill and high-volume clinical positions.
• Manage and optimize job postings across healthcare-specific and traditional recruitment platforms.
• Source and engage passive clinical candidates through networking, cold calling, online research, social media, referrals, professional associations, and industry events.
• Utilize sourcing tools and market intelligence to identify talent trends and build candidate engagement strategies.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening to assess interest, qualifications, compensation expectations, location preferences, and overall alignment with organizational needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a seamless candidate experience and effective handoff throughout the hiring process.
• Support employer branding initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of clinical career opportunities within home health and hospice.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• 2-4 years of sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience required.
• Experience sourcing healthcare professionals strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting home health, hospice, post-acute care, or healthcare recruiting preferred.
• Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Self-starter who can operate effectively with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, Apollo, and other talent search platforms.
• Strong candidate assessment skills and ability to identify culture and team fit.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
