Breast Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our patient-focused breast imaging team. In this PRN role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies to support early detection and diagnosis of breast disease. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and nurses in a compassionate, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include optimizing imaging protocols, ensuring accurate documentation in PACS/RIS, maintaining equipment and infection control standards, and upholding regulatory and quality requirements while providing exceptional, culturally sensitive patient care.
