Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be an integral part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $19.00

Shift: 6:30am 3:00PM

What's the Job?

  • Receive, check, store, issue, and ship inbound/outbound materials from the warehouse
  • Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies
  • Assist in other areas or perform additional duties as required by fluctuating business needs
  • Ensure shipping counts match packing documents and resolve discrepancies
  • Pack customer goods according to customer expectations and verify proper counts and contents of deliveries

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills and manual dexterity
