Machine Operator

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production department supporting all warehouse departments as needed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have excellent communication skills and experience working with GMP's which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Range: $19.75 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform set ups in preparation for product runs
• Operate equipment and adjust as necessary to ensure they are up to quality specifications
• Inspect and test packages
• Maintains work area in a clean and organized manner

What’s Needed?

• Must be knowledgeable in GMP's and the HACCP program or willing to learn
• Sufficient math skills
• Ability to read and write in English is preferred
• Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted and 40-75 lbs assisted
