The facility is a well-oiled machine that has nothing broken that you need to fix. The main requirement for this position is having strong leadership skills, and experience as a DON or ADON within a rehab facility.

Job Details

Key responsibilities

• Lead nursing operations across a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, clinical outcomes, documentation, and resident satisfaction.
• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to improve systems, communication, and accountability.
• Support short-term rehab growth by strengthening clinical quality, hospital relationships, and discharge outcomes.
• Serve as a visible leader throughout the building.

What we are looking for

• Active New York RN license.
• Experience as a Director of Nursing in skilled nursing, long-term care, subacute rehab, or post-acute care.
