Emergency Medicine physician employment in Iowa : Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others, years. Some are far from home, others are local. - 7+ shifts per month -- 24-hour shifts, 7 am - 7 am
- Approximately 20 patients per day
- Hospital-based emergency medicine position
- Hospital privileges required
