Our client, a dedicated organization committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment, is seeking a Maintenance Worker / Janitorial to join their team. As a Maintenance Worker / Janitorial, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting the daily operations across the property grounds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Worker / Janitorial
Location: Rhinebeck, NY
Pay Range: $19.32/hr
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
What's the Job?
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain doors, windows, locks, hardware, furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, flooring, and other building components.
- Assist with plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and general carpentry tasks to ensure facility integrity.
- Support groundskeeping activities including landscaping, snow removal, and outdoor maintenance to keep the campus safe and attractive.
What's Needed?
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and groundskeeping tasks.
- Experience operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance needs and perform seasonal groundskeeping duties.
- Credential requirements include certifications such as 100042, 100069, 100065, 100067.
