Full job description
- Schedule: 8 hour shifts, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Opportunity to make overtime pay if willing to stay past 3:30pm. No call required, but optional if desired.
- Job Setting: Hospital System with 5 anesthesia sites. Practice model: 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs. Supervision ratio is 1/2.5.
- Types of Cases: General and colorectal, OB&GYN, URO, Orthopedics, Cataracts, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE and GI. No heads/neuro, no traumas, no open hearts. Locums CRNAs will not have to do peds. Charting is paper and pen.
- Credentialing: If CT license is in hand - 30-60 days. No CT license - 60-120 days
- Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.
