Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Miami Lakes, Florida
Full-time M-F Onsite

Pay Range: $87,500 - $100,000
Bonus Eligible

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and engineering solutions, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Perform a variety of basic and advanced engineering tasks to establish processes and parameters on injection molding machines, ensuring optimal equipment function and product quality.
  • Assist production teams with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
  • Review and ensure all documentation related to processes, quality control, and equipment setup is accurate and properly maintained.
  • Conduct measurements and quality control inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators to verify part specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, tooling, quality, and production departments to implement process improvements, automation, and robotics cycle time reductions.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Plastics Engineering Technology) or a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive or medical precision injection molding.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with engineering-grade materials and process optimization using data-driven metrics.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process parameter adjustments on injection molding equipment.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and present accurate CERs and ROI assessments.
  • Experience working with outside suppliers, resin manufacturers, and participating in customer meetings as needed.
