The work: 

  • Administer Oracle and Postgres databases Debug Oracle and Postgres databases Patch and upgrade Oracle and Postgres databases
  • Conduct performance tuning on Oracle and Postgres databases Resolve issues with Oracle and Postgres databases 
  • Ideal candidate will have experience identifying and resolving performance or availability issues in databases 
  • You will provide guidance and support to application developers in the creation and deployment of DML or DDL scripts in support of application maintenance or deployment

Here’s what you need:

  • Active Top Secret clearance and willingness to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC
  • Minimum of 5 years of DBA experience administering Oracle or Postgres databases (ideally both)
  • Experience with AWS/RDS/S3/DMS
  • Experience working with and debugging Oracle/Postgres databases, patching and upgrades 
  • Experience conducting performance tuning and restoring on Oracle/Postgres databases 
  • Experience with Oracle/Postgres database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback
  • Experience configuring Oracle/Postgres databases to meet federal security guidelines

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

 


The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:

$81,000—$154,700 USD
