Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Chest tube experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred.
Special Requests: No self-scheduling; block scheduling can be accommodated as much as possible. Travelers will fill in gaps on the first schedule.
Unit Details: Common patient population includes dementia, post-surgical, falls, influenza, pneumonia, failure to thrive, cancer, and COVID patients. Common care includes pain management, TPN, CBI, and wound care. Unit does not titrate drips. Charge nurse takes patients; travelers may be asked to work charge if experienced. CPAP is used on the unit, with RT managing. Telemetry is available on the floor; monitor techs read.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every 3rd holiday; expect to work one of the winter holidays. No routine call; call is only assigned if a traveler requests a scheduled shift off or volunteers to cancel.
Floating Requirements: Can float to PCU, taking MedSurg overflow or very low-acuity PCU patients.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
