Position Overview
Rebound Physical Therapy in Morristown, New Jersey, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in creating and executing individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at pain relief and improved physical wellness.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and at-home exercise programs to support their recovery journey.
- Administer physical therapy modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, as directed by a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, meticulously tracking measurements such as range of motion, strength improvements, and functional capabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily accessible and in optimal condition.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists—to coordinate comprehensive patient care and maximize treatment outcomes.
- Provide psychological support and encouragement to patients, helping to foster a positive rehabilitation experience.
- Uphold the ethical and professional standards required in physical therapy, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights.

Compensation and Benefits
