CNC Machine Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $21

Shift:
2nd - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd - 10 pm to 8 am (Sunday night start)

What's the Job?

• Operate and perform set-ups on CNC machines across multiple platforms, including mills and lathes
• Contribute to the production of high-quality products by managing machine operations independently from start to finish
• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and precision
• Utilize Inventor CAM software to create 2.5 – 5-axis mill and mill-turn toolpath strategies
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• Expertise in reading blueprints and using a tape measure
• At least 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Inventor CAM software
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
