Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and practices
Provide guidance and oversight to the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards
Conduct quarterly assessments of the nursing department and implement changes to improve quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, and community resources
Participate in facility-wide committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience
Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, infection control, and medication errors
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, infection control policies, and resident safety protocols
