Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2020 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Can handle a 6-patient ratio.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preceptor and charge experience is a plus.

Special Requests: No block schedule requests; 48-hour schedules can be considered but are not guaranteed.

Unit Details: Adult/geriatric patient population. Common cases include total joint patients, surgical patients, ACS, acute-on-chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB. Uses Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicell, and Zoll defibrillators.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period. No scheduled call; scheduled shifts may be flexed to an on-call shift as needed up to twice during the contract.

Floating Requirements: Floating to IMC and ED in the hospital is an expectation.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
