Gastonia Chevrolet Buick GMC is expanding our Service Team and HIRING NOW for Automotive Technicians with experience working on GM vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform multi-point inspections and diagnose malfunctions
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for repairs
• Repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air-conditioning, in accordance with dealership standards

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience working on Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and/or Cadillac experience required
• GM Certified Technician is a major plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
• Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive 'team-player' attitude
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass pre-employment screening
