Electronic Assembler / Soldering

<p align="center"><b>Apply for tomorrow's opportunity today with VOLT!</b></p> <p align="center">Volt is immediately hiring <b>Soldering Assemblers </b>for a local leading manufacturing company in <b>San Diego, CA</b>.</p> <p><b>Schedule: </b>Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM</p> <p>As a <b>Soldering Assembler </b>you will:</p> <ul> <li>Builds cable and wire harnesses, box assemblies, kits, and other products from start to finish while working under indirect supervision</li> <li>Follows work orders, instructions, and sample assemblies to complete tasks</li> <li>Performs tasks such as labeling, cutting wires, crimping, soldering, assembling parts, packaging, and testing for quality</li> <li>Work with variety of different cables such as round, shielded, flat, and coax cable. </li> <li>Utilize traditional and non-traditional tools such as cable strippers, cable cutters, crimp tools, heat guns, pliers, screwdrivers, and more)</li> <li>Assist in the QMS and the commitment for continuous improvement</li> <li>May be assigned other duties as needed</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire Opportunity.</b></p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>1-2 years’ experience in electro- mechanical assembly</li> <li>Soldering and electrical experience</li> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing work related</li> <li>Must have good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopes</li> <li>Able to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, electrical drawings, etc.</li> <li>Ability to use hand tools- long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron. </li> <li>Must be able to distinguish colors </li> <li>Ability to compute measurements accurately</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge IPC 610/ 620, J-STD-001 certification </li> <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate:</b> $21.00 – $25.00 per hour</p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. </p> <p>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
