Responsible for the strategic development, operational oversight, and growth of the Medical Destinations program. This role leads efforts to attract, coordinate, and deliver high-quality care experiences for patients traveling to Mercy for specialized services, ensuring exceptional outcomes, seamless navigation, and strong financial performance.

Position Details:

Primarily located at Mercy Smith Glynn Callaway clinic

SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI

FULL TIME

ONSITE

Leads the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the Medical Destinations program, driving efforts to attract and support patients seeking specialized care at Mercy. Ensures a seamless, high-quality experience while delivering strong outcomes and financial performance.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, program management, or patient access/navigation

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), MBA, or related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience in program development, service line growth, or destination medicine/concierge care models
Certification(s): PMP, Lean/Six Sigma or related certification

• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen

• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional workflows
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Physical Requirements
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
