Overview:

Sentara Hospice is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an LPN.

Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a home health care setting is responsible for providing direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and offering essential support to patients with various medical needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, is required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that improves patient well-being.

Anticipated Status/Shift:

Part Time (32 hours/week)

Weekend Night Shift (Anticipated schedule Sat & Sun, 5PM-8:30AM)

Position Location:

Suffolk, VA

Education

  • Trade School Graduate for Nursing (Required)

Certification/Licensure

  • LPN License in state of practice (VA) (Required)

  • BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

  • 2 years' experience (Required)

  • Prior hospice experience (Strongly preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $28.57 - $43.04 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
