Full job description
The Volunteer Services Specialist recruits, onboards, trains, schedules, and supports volunteers serving within the Coalition’s Employment Services program, with a primary focus on the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program. In partnership with Employment Services staff, this role coordinates volunteer assignments that support individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness in preparing for and obtaining employment. The position ensures compliance with AmeriCorps Seniors requirements, including documentation, reporting, and tracking volunteer service activities. Highly collaborative, this position works across departments to support effective volunteer engagement aligned with organizational mission and program goals.
Additional Requirement
- Valid driver’s license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business and/or role.
