Job Description:

Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation. Education: ▪ Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: ▪ Preferred: Previous patient sitter experience Skills: ▪ Must be 18 years of age or older ▪ Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families ▪ Basic computer skills ▪ Ability to problem solve ▪ Flexibility and ability to remain alert to safety issues Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
