Kitchen Manager – Buffalo, NY
Join a respected long-standing restaurant seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead a dedicated kitchen team. This role offers the chance to maintain high-quality food standards while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment in a well-established restaurant setting.

Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in kitchen leadership or management
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of up to 15 staff members
- Experience managing food costs, inventory, and labor effectively
- Familiarity with Toast or other modern POS systems and comfortable working with technology
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Kitchen Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, service, and closing duties
- Lead and schedule kitchen staff while maintaining a positive and professional culture
- Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and adherence to recipe standards
- Manage food inventory, ordering, receiving, and storage with attention to cost control
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure seamless service and troubleshoot operational issues
- Support menu execution and assist in developing specials to introduce modern options alongside traditional dishes
