As a Cardiac Step Down Registered Nurse, you provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with cardiac and other complex conditions transitioning from intensive care. You perform ongoing assessments, manage telemetry and medications, carry out provider-ordered treatments, and respond to changes in status. You educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge care, document accurately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe recovery and strong clinical outcomes.
