TPMG is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in South Sacramento. Position Highlights
Team Composition : after this hire 9 surgeons (3 Hand/Shoulder/Elbow, 2 Total Joint (hips/knees), 2 Sports, 2 Trauma)
Collaborative Model : Work closely with 2 experienced Physician Assistants and dedicated specialized Surgical Assistants
Surgical Focus : Upper Extremity, both elective and non-elective. Hand/elbow/shoulder expertise HIGHLY desired
OR Time : eventual goal 2 days per week
Call Schedule : ~1 in 9 (Level 2 community trauma)
Dedicated trauma room time available staffed by Trauma Orthopedic Surgeons to place cases picked up on call the next day or later
Practice Environment
Supportive Infrastructure : Strong systems in place for outpatient care and surgical coordination. Exceptional surgical concierge. Excellent peri-op and operating room staff.
