The PCA provides personal care and assistance to students in a school setting, supporting daily activities, safety, and collaboration with staff. This role ensures a supportive environment that promotes student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance to students in a school setting.
Assist with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
Ensure student safety and support individual needs.
Follow facility protocols and health guidelines.
Collaborate with educational staff to support student success.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CPR/First Aid certification required or to be obtained.
Minimum 1 year of personal care experience, assisting with daily activities and ensuring client safety.
Strong communication and compassionate skills.
Ability to work daytime shifts.
Background check clearance.
Physical ability to assist clients with mobility.
Adherence to facility standards and policies.
Ability to work in a school setting.
