About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A delivery drivers for local routes based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This home-daily opportunity offers consistent work, Monday through Friday scheduling, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

• $25 per hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday with no weekends
• First shift, typically starting between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
• Local, home-daily routes

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery routes within approximately a 150-mile radius of Little Rock
• Freight: General freight and heavy-touch product
• Stops: Approximately 10 to 15 stops per day
• Equipment: Automatic transmission trucks, lift gates, hand trucks, and electric pallet jacks
• Handling: Drivers will load, unload, sort, and segregate product as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general freight throughout the assigned local service area
• Load and unload heavy-touch freight using lift gates, hand trucks, and electric pallet jacks
• Sort and segregate product as needed
• Operate automatic transmission trucks on assigned delivery routes
• Complete vehicle inspections, delivery paperwork, and required delivery records
• Verify deliveries and communicate with dispatch regarding route or delivery needs

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to safely load, unload, sort, and deliver freight
• Ability to safely operate a lift gate, hand truck, and electric pallet jack
