Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion preferred.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Three years’ technical experience preferred. Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred; some certifications will require a bachelor’s degree.

Unit Details: Performs before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures/studies to treat cardiac and vascular arterial, venous, and structural heart disorders, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, and to implant and remove devices and leads. Performs cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using complicated and sophisticated equipment. Produces digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positions and instructs patients for examinations, and performs specialized studies. Assists with cardiac catheterization and other special exams, including contrast injection, fluoroscopy/cinefluorography, and monitoring blood pressure, cardiac output, and respiration during imaging. Assists with interventional procedures such as instilling enzymes or inserting balloons in blood vessels to remove plaque or other blockage.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable shift options: 7am-5:30pm, 8-6:30pm, or 9-7:30pm. After-hours call every other weekend and 2 weeknights per week.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
