About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Yard Switcher/Shuttle driver to support local operations based in Mount Juliet, TN. This is a long-term FLEX assignment with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay: $27.50 Per Hour + Benefits
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4 PM - 12 AM, 8 Hour shifts, 40-50 hours per week

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local, yard switching and shuttle runs
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks
  • Handling: No touch

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL A equipment on local yard and shuttle routes
  • Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • License: CDL A
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
