Line Lead

Ft. Wayne, IN has immediate openings for a Line Lead.

Shift: days Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p

Pay: $24/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Guide, train, coach, and support team members
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate performance metrics
• Lead and participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with production teams and cross-functional departments
• Perform production line duties as needed, including handling materials, inspecting products, packaging finished goods, and supplying equipment and parts.
• Ensure required process, performance, and quality testing is completed accurately and consistently.
• Promote and maintain 5S standards to improve safety, efficiency, organization, and cleanliness within the work area.
• Develop and coordinate action plans to achieve 5S and operational targets.
• Assist with creating and maintaining production schedules for multiple lines.
• Coordinate production activities with management and support overall production objectives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and coordination of production personnel.
• Support employee development and performance improvement.
• This role does not have responsibility for disciplinary actions or employee relations issues.

Previous supervisory experience required
