Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center at CircuCare is a bustling facility where teamwork and patient care are paramount. Physical Therapists will engage in collaborative efforts with various healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to develop holistic treatment plans. You will work in a dynamic setting, with Monday to Friday schedules and rotating shifts on weekends, providing care that adapts to the needs of our patients and the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify impairments and functional limitations, setting achievable individual treatment goals based on physician orders.
  • Designing and implementing detailed treatment plans addressing the unique needs of each patient, ensuring therapeutic interventions are appropriate for their age and clinical status.
  • Documenting all aspects of patient care meticulously, including evaluation findings, treatments provided, and progress notes, utilizing professional terminology to ensure accountability and justification for care.
  • Supervising the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel to facilitate effective patient care, providing them with guidance and support to reinforce treatment goals.
  • Interacting closely with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and evaluate treatment efficacy, collaborating to refine treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Continuously monitoring and assessing patient outcomes to ensure that rehabilitation goals are being met, making adjustments to treatment protocols as needed to optimize healing.
  • Proactively engaging in professional development opportunities and contributing to maintaining a positive workplace environment that supports learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients with various injuries and disabilities. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain their functionality, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Colorado.
  • A deep understanding of physical therapy practices and the ability to apply therapeutic techniques across a range of patient needs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction and documentation.
