Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1940 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Pre-/post-cardiac catheterization experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to titrate drips preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13 - 16 weeks.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Assorted medical/telemetry patients with a higher-than-average cardiac population, including chest pain/cardiac rule-out patients, CHF exacerbations, pre-/post-cardiac catheterization patients, and many alcohol detox patients. Drips include Cardizem, nitroglycerin, and heparin; no pressors. Uses Alaris pumps and Hercules beds. May see JP and other standard postoperative drains, stable chest tubes, ports, and PICC lines. Oxygen via nasal cannula only; patients with acute BiPAP/CPAP needs are transferred. May see chronic BiPAP/CPAP patients and occasional chronic trachs; no vents. Night shift charge nurse takes a patient assignment; day shift charge assignment varies by census.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
