Registered Nurse Operating Nurse

As a Registered Nurse – Operating Room at MedStar Health, you will deliver patient-first, evidence-based perioperative care in a high-acuity surgical setting. Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessment, circulating and/or scrub roles, medication administration, and vigilant monitoring to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams, support patient and family education, uphold infection prevention and regulatory standards, and participate in continuous learning, quality improvement, and professional development within a large, mission-driven health system.
