About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local delivery operations for our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $27 per hour
  • Schedule: Day shift with start times between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Home time: Home daily
  • Employment type: Temp-to-perm
  • Start date: August 24, 2026

Job Details

  • Route type: Local delivery
  • Freight: Steel
  • Equipment: Flatbed equipment with automatic transmission
  • Handling: Strapping only; no tarping required

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL A flatbed equipment on local routes.
  • Transport steel in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
  • Secure loads using straps and perform required handling tasks.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
  • 4 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
