Automation Developer – IBM MQ Migration

We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer to build and enhance automation solutions supporting IBM MQ Queue Manager migration . The role will focus on Python-based automation, API integration, workflow orchestration, and DevOps to deliver scalable end-to-end migration solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions for IBM MQ migration, including discovery, assessment, execution, validation, and reporting.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, and PowerShell .
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, JSON/XML , and automation connectors.
• Integrate multiple tools and workflows into a unified migration framework.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions .
• Develop reusable automation components and support AI-assisted automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot automation and migration issues and collaborate with infrastructure, MQ, and architecture teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation development .
• Strong Python and Linux/Unix scripting skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, Git/GitHub , and workflow automation.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD , and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of software development and integration practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ administration, migration, or automation .
• Experience with Ansible or Terraform .
• Knowledge of IBM MQ Queue Manager configuration and migration strategies.
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation technologies.
