Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. The Registered Nurse in one of our Ambulatory Wound Centers provides clinical care, care management and patient/family education to support the healing of acute and chronic wounds, in collaboration with the provider treatment team.

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma in Nursing required, BSN preferred

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience including wound assessment and dressings

• >2 years of progressive wound skill experience in acute care, home care or ambulatory site preferred

• Prior wound care training preferred

• Active Registered Nurse license in CT required

• Wound Care certification preferred
