Work Environment

Located within a state-of-the-art hospital facility in Hempstead, NY, our rehabilitation clinic is fully equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies. You will be working in a collaborative team setting with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, all focused on delivering integrated, patient-centered care. The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate our patients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in executing tailored treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities designed to enhance physical well-being while alleviating pain.
• Educating patients on appropriate body mechanics, exercise modalities, and home exercise regimens to support their rehabilitation process.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold therapy under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress by tracking metrics such as range of motion, strength levels, and functional advancements.
• Maintaining clean and organized treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available for therapy sessions.
• Collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Providing emotional and motivational support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, including maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting privacy rights.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
