Division Chief, Urology - Columbia, SC

PRISMA Health, the largest health system in South Carolina is actively recruiting the next Division Chief of Urology to direct and grow clinical operations across a multi-hospital network including a large teaching facility and other locations designed to serve a defined clinical need across Prisma Health's Midlands market (1M+ population).

Urology Division Chief in Columbia, SC:

• Lead and grow the urology service line throughout Central South Carolina (1M+ population) consisting of multiple hospitals (1,000+ beds), surgery centers, and outpatient practices
• Uro-hospitalist support to limit inpatient responsibiliites for faculty - the Chief will oversee the growth of subspecialty programs in the division, including recruitment efforts to onboard fellowship-trained faculty.
• State of the art facilities: da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, the only Video Urodynamics lab in the state, and Artemis MRI Fusion Technology.
• General and plastic surgery residents rotate on the service along with University of South Carolina - Columbia medical school students and there is clearly the potential for development of a urologic surgery training program
• The successful candidate is committed to clinical excellence and interest in expansion of the division and associated multidisciplinary partnerships. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching, leadership and research and a track record of successful team leadership.
