Full job description

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration. Urogynecology, also referred to as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), is a subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pelvic floor dysfunction in women. These disorders result from compromise of the pelvic floor musculature, connective tissue, and neural support, leading to dysfunction of the lower urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, and pelvic organs. Common conditions include stress and urge urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, voiding dysfunction, and defecatory disorders. Treatment modalities encompass comprehensive conservative management—including behavioral therapy, pelvic floor physical therapy, and pharmacologic interventions—as well as advanced reconstructive and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
