Rotating schedule -- 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour days weekly or monthly
1:2 call ratio shared with one other full-time APC
Beeper call -- 15-minute response time for assigned patients
Coverage until permanent APCs are hired and trained
BLS certification required -- AHA only
Surgical, inpatient, and call coverage experience required
Occasional outpatient coverage may be included
Hospital privileges required
